The Television Treaty on Terror

On September 11, 2001, television tetworks throughout the world broadcast the most destructive terrorist attack ever committed against the United States. American swatched paralyzed as this unanticipated threat to our nation's safety was actualized all in one morning. President Bush promptly responded with a message of comfort to a population of grieving citizens, promising a resolve for justice against these evil acts. Great Britain also wasted no time in offering their sympathies
"The democracies of this world are going to have to come together to fight and eradicate this evil completely," stated Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Now almost three years later, we continue to watch our combined forces fight the evils of terrorist, and not just on the news. Prime time television is taking on the terrorist almost every night and audiences are tuning in. With shows like The West Wing, 24, Threat Matrix, and Alias, American viewers find themselves enjoying a fictionalized version of actual news headlines...
