| All Nigerian American Congress (ANAC) was invited to join the Nigerian delegation on behalf of Nigerian diaspora at the United Nations on going summit in New York.
Chief Temitope Ajayi the ANAC President House of Delegates represented All Nigerian American Congress in the event. Speaking at the ANAC leadership session yesterday, Chief (Ms) Ajayi the energetic personality, revealed her report to the Upper House delegates, Trustees and Executive Stakeholders meeting. ANAC has really been there for the Nigerian International Community and we must continue in light of the recognition that we are the true champions of the Nigerian International community. Mr. Chairman, addressing the Chair moderator for the ANAC session, Honorable Mohammed Bagudu, Vice Chair of the Upper House of Delegates, please allow me to express my gratitude to the House of Delegates and our Honorable Chairman of the Upper House of Delegates, and Board of Trustees, Dr. Dan E. Austin for all his visions and good works, with all protocols observed. We have represented ANAC to the world and to that credit our interview with Radio Africa tonight will speak to that, however we need to do more work with our internal order, as she complained about some local operating rules in the Nigerian international body. It should be mentioned that Ms Temitope Ajayi was a replacement for the ousted former President of the Lower House Mr. Okey Mbonu who was removed by the joint session of both ANAC Houses earlier in 2006 for secretly attempting to register a rival organization as a bargain chip to demand some constitutional powers for his position. We are nevertheless making much progress.
The New York -G8 World Summit at the United Nations, comprising 150 World Leaders, and other other Ranking Political Figures to discuss the Challenges of Our Time and the Pressing needs of the international community today. This is a great step forward for ANAC to become the true worldwide representative of the Nigerian International community. The Upperhouse delegates and trustees present at the session included Hon. Abdulateef Kareem of Chicago, the Secretary General of ANAC, Hon. George Mbagwu of Maryland, Hon. Martin Okafor the Chairman of the Georgia ANAC, Hon.Colin Atobajeun, chairman of the Energy committee, Hon. Peter Agho of Newyork, Hon. Ola Aina of Connecticut, Hon. Samuel Isokpunwu of Texas. The chairman of the Public Affairs and information Committee, Paul Oranika, a Trustee from Atlanta, Georgia, commended the United nations representation, while Lara Okunobi the chair lady for Arts and Culture briefly commented on the gains of ANAC. Also present to give report was the Chairman of the Agricultural Committee, Mr Muiwa Omololu. The Moderator, Vice Chairman of the body Honorable Mohammed Bagudu, congratulated the President of the house of delegates on behalf of the entire Upper house, board of trustees and board of Directors for her splendid performance at the United Nations event as the group pressed forward on other matters that concern the Nigerian International communities.
